Blackboard and Sprint Team Up to Bring Mobile Learning to Students

The word Blackboard is synonymous with technology and collaboration. Whether you’re a student or educator, chances are Blackboard has had a positive impact on your educational experience.

As technology expands and we are seeing rapid innovation in distance learning and mobility, Blackboard is no exception. Blackboard Mobile™ Learn takes teaching and learning mobile, giving students and educators access to their courses, content and organizations across a variety of device platforms – Android, Blackberry, Palm, and iOS.

Coming only six months after the initial launch, Blackboard Mobile Learn 2.0 has a newly redesigned interface for threaded, hierarchical discussions and the ability to mark courses as “favorites” to more easily sort and manage classes. Taking mobile learning one step further, Blackboard Mobile Learn is now extending beyond Blackboard Learn, utilizing mobile device capabilities to allow students and professors to create and upload content to their courses, including video and photos.
